For example, the Heading 1 that is used will change the font type to Tahoma, so you don't need to change every heading that is given the Heading 1 format.
You only need to modify the style used, namely:
- From the Format menu select Styles and Formatting or click the Styles and Formatting button
on the Formatting toolbar to bring up the task pane.
- Place the cursor in the Formatting of selected text box and click the arrow that appears. Select Modify to display the Modify Style dialog box .
- Click OK when you have finished modifying the style
Note : Microsoft Word can also help you to modify a style automatically, for example you have some text with Heading 1
formatting . Changes in the formatting of one of the text that has a heading style will be automatically updated by Microsoft Word on all text with the formatting. Heading 1 in the document.
How : in the Modify Style dialog box , check Automatically update .
