How to Document Protection?
Installing Protection on Documents
- From the Tools menu select the Options command . Then click the Security tab .
- Type the opening password in the Password to open field .
- Type the modified password in the Password to modify field .
- You can also save a document as a document that has the Read-only attribute , so it cannot be edited. Click the Read-only recommended option .
- After making the settings, click the OK button . A confirmation dialog box will appear (re-enter) password. Enter the password again in each re-enter dialog box. Then click OK .
Attention:
- The use of uppercase and lowercase letters affects the password.
- Documents cannot be opened if you forget the document password.
Remove or Change Password
- Remove the password: press DELETE , and click OK .
- Change password: Type a new password, and click OK .
Enter the password again in each re-enter dialog box. Then click OK .
Tip:

Use a strong password that is a combination of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers and symbols.
- Example of a strong password: D8yh!ut9 (Use a password that is easy to remember so you don't have to write it down).
- Example of a weak password: Mouse56.
